Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Sunday maybe a possibility for me too. Changing my bottom bracket Saturday. Hopefully bike still works on Sunday.
I might be able to do a ride this weekend.
This past weekend, I went to both More in Villa Park, and also Flesk in Barrington. More was decent, and I really liked their Falling Colors Coffee beer! Flesk wasn't bad either, but More made a slight bit more of an impression on me. Next time, I'll get some food at More to see how that's like.
I can't remember when it was when I first went to Prairie Krafts, but the better reviews I read for them vs. Half Day were why I went to Prairie Krafts instead. Still dunno if I'll ever go to Half Day once, just to say I did. BTW, has anyone ever gone to Light the Lamp? It's hilarious whenever I've tried going there a couple past times over the years, I always manage to have bad luck and that place is closed. :( I'm sure eventually, I'll visit there.
Really do want to visit Bosacki's soon, based on the checkins and word I heard from Serge about that place! I'll probably throw in a visit to Macushala, just before I go further north to Bosacki's sometime in the future. And a side question, has anyone gone to Roaring Table in Lake Zurich yet?
I agree about Bosaki's. Great Brown Ale. Brewer was there serving the beer - he loves to talk :) And Tighthead is just around the corner. Good neighborhood to end a ride.
Also enjoyed Macushala Brewing in Glenview. Another nice addition within 10 miles of home.
Made it home fine. Sorry to bail at Revolution, but it was a bit too crazy. But still looking forward to next year :)
what a fun day, thanks for coming, hope you made it home ok.
ride more tomorrow!
did some research, decided which 16 beers to have tomorrow lol
I'm pretty sure they did. But after 95 miles and a long day of drinking, I was happy to just have a couple Octoberfests. Plus I'm cheap.
