I like! The City could use these to narrow bike lanes that are so wide that they tempt selfish drivers to drive in them. (I'm looking at you Wabash, south of Archer.)

Or to actually separate the cars from the bike lane (I'm looking at you Dearborn in the loop).

They could really use this on the new bike lane on west Harrison near UIC. I've seen several vehicles, including a CTA bus, use it as a 2nd lane.

There are also the water filled jersey barriers also.

Actually I really like these.  I wish Chicago would try something like this.  The article says they placed 100 meters (a football field) in 3 hours.  One could transform a street in a single day.
