Please let me know if this is a duplicate thread and I'll close this one... a few recent experiences have left me thinking it would be good to keep a video log of my ride.
Who's got experience with these and what can you recommend?

Gitup does a very nice GoPro knockoff. I have a Git 2 and have been quite pleased with it. The cool thing about their new camera is that it will have available a rear-facing module that can shoot video at the same time as the main camera shoots in front (or vice-versa). You end up with two separate videos, one front-facing, one rear. A pretty cool innovation that about covers it all.
I use a Fly6 on the rear of my bike: http://cycliq.com/products/fly6/. Pretty good images and battery life, and an additional rear light never hurts.
I'm still looking for a forward facing camera that i like and that fits my budget. I had a Polaroid Cube, which was great in terms of images, but the magnetic mount sucks on Chicago roads/paths and it went flying off one day. :-(
