Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Thanks for the follow up. I'm closer to the eastern trial head. See you Saturday.
Serge,
I think I can make the ride on Saturday. The route shows a starting point near Belmont Harbor but, you mentioned a meet up at the east end of the 606 at 9am. Please confirm the meet up destination and time.
Great ride. Only 94 miles for me. But then, I cheated.

On to FFF in two weeks.
Thanks Serge & all for a great ride. See you again soon!
thanks for the taste alert. the south shore pdf doesn't mention it, but their web page says bikes "Bikes may not be permitted".
metra says "Due to high ridership, there is an increased likelihood that bikes cannot be accommodated".
it may just be that they may run out of room for bikes, in which case it might be possible to get on early in the run. i guess people still might be going in mid-afternoon.
