Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

  • Mistral
    5.2% ABV $5 Stein

Kolsch brewed with a single hop varietal from France. Aroma is primarily pear, banana, and tropical fruits. Secondary flavors of grainy malt and floral notes are also present balancing the fruit flavors. This beer is light bodied with a bitter, dry finish.

  • Barbarossa
    7.56% ABV $5 Imperial Pint

Single hop IPA. Brewed with an experimental hop from France.

  • Sexy Neckbreaker
    6% ABV $5 Imperial Pint

What I'd like to have right now is for all you fat, out of shape, craft beer drinking sweathogs to keep the noise down while I take my robe off and show all the ladies what a real man is supposed to look like. This Rude Pale Ale is Simply Ravashing!

Weather expected looks great: Mainly sunny. High 68F. NNW winds shifting to E at 10 to 15 mph.

The usual route to 3f comes out on calumet further south, do you want to branch off from calumet & 45th?

Comment by bobweiser on April 21, 2017 at 9:31pm

sure. from where? and what route do you have in mind? Erie-Lackawanna, ugh.
