"In case you didn't know, Alderman Burrus is a cyclist, I've ridden with her many times.
Last night, I checked out the part of Chicago Ave they're talking about and I agree with her - that's not a good place for a bike…"
"Julia, I suspect you're not the only one in that situation. Dan is one of the most ubiquitous* Chainlink members in Chicago. Beer rides, training rides, volunteering at Active Trans rides, hosting card nights, walking his dogs, one…"
Hi Jen; Marlene & I both enjoyed the paty. I hope that you also did to. I do have couple of nice pictures you may want. Please do check out our ride. It's the North~Side Critical Mass. I also have a group for this. Well take care & hope to see you soon on some rides. Thanks Tony
I believe it can. Would you want to try the ride in Union, IL? It's got hills too but we can do the thirty mile ride. If we leave by seven we can be there by eight I think. Would you be able to meet me at California and Lawrence?
oh, I should let ya know I don't have a bike rack. I have my friend's SUV for the week and if we put the seats down, we should be able to fit 2 bikes in there. I'm going to double check that this evening.
Hey! I was planning on doing the Schaumberg ride if I couldn't find someone to ride with in Barrington. I have a couple friends riding in Barrington on Sunday but they are half iron-man training and a tad bit more intense than I think I want to be just yet! So I'm up for either. There are some routes on map my ride for barrington. Let me know which one you'd like to do.
