Po Campo is leading this leisurely Mother's Day ride along the lakefront. We'll start with mimosas & juice at Cricket Hill (Montrose & Lakefront) and continuing south to the free Spring Flower Show at Lincoln Park Conservatory. Please bring the whole family! I hope to persuade my own parents to come.See More

The Raising of the Bicycle at Jane's Restaurant

April 6, 2011 from 6pm to 7pm
Fine members, Happy Vernal Equinox (belated)! I was so taken with the Super Moon, I plumb missed the equinox. Yet again, I've missed the opportunity to stand an egg upright on the tip of its bloom. In honor of the transition from dark to light and car to bike, Julie at Jane's Restaurant will be suspending a bicycle over the main bar in anticipation of advent of the cycling season. I'll be there on Wednesday, April 6th at 6 p.m. to ring in the season. Bring your friends and family to celebrate…See More

The kind of riding I do:
Recreational, Exercise, Commuting, Around Town
About me:
I got rid of my car when I moved to Chicago over 10 years ago and have never looked back. Now I have a family and we try to ride as much as we can, including our young adaptive rider. I'm a recent convert to city bikes, and have started a blog about family biking, dutch bikes, and adaptive riding in the city. I'm on the look-out for family events, especially those that include adaptive riders.
