Grid Chicago Happy Hour at Revolution Brewing, 2nd floor Brewer's Lounge

January 24, 2013 from 6pm to 9pm
Steven Vance and I from Grid Chicago have been tapped by Streetsblog to write Streetsblog Chicago, a new daily transportation news website covering local and national sustainable transportation and public space issues. The new website goes live on Tuesday, January 22. Grid Chicago will become dormant but remain online as an archive. We're confident that Streetsblog Chicago, a bit more…See More

rascaltwitch replied to kiltedcelt's discussion 'Have any nutjobs ridden their mountain bikes from the city all the way out to Palos and back?'
"I've ridden to and around Palos on a non-MTB and found much of it to be pretty darn unpleasant. A lot of the route is unavoidably stressful which can make for fairly exhausting riding. Be sure to save plenty of energy for the ride home.…"

"Bummer, Ash. If you are still looking to go camping, i would recommend taking the metra to Harvard and riding north to Kettle Moraine. It's about the same distance as Zion but a much more pleasant ride. I can send you a route if you're…"

"Hey Ash, you might want to call up to IL beach state park. It has been closed since the big storms of last year and the IDNR closures site says it won't be open again until April 1st. "

March 17, 2012 from 7:30am to 11:45pm
Join us for this longtime Bike Winter Tradition! We'll meet up on March 17 at the food court of the Ogilvie Center, 500 W.
