- I miss the hills and mountains around Seattle when it comes to hiking and skiing, but I'm coming around to love the flat terrain here in my new city of Chicago. You can just go and go, even on an upright 7-speed cruiser like I now ride due to having 3 vertebrae fused. I feel like a kid when I'm rolling down the road, free and easy. Jamie and I are having so much fun doing some serious riding again, I had to buy a Raleigh road bike for the fun stuff (beyond commuting).

- When did you live in Washington? I grew up down in Unicorporated Pierce county and definitely miss it there as well. Certainly agree on the easiness of biking here in Chicago.
