I picked this frame up 3 yrs ago with the intent of making it a single speed commuter for a friend. She purchased a new bike and abandoned this project. Having a lot of time on my hands I decided to just build it up. It has brand new Shimano s500 wheels, Sram 8 Speed cassette, chain, cables, Vittoria tires,tubes,pedals,and fresh bar tape. - Haha - no, not squeaking anymore! However, I was involved in an accident Sunday (not my fault, I think I'd be less annoyed if I had earned it) and I now have a radial head fracture. So no bike until the end of July. But I'll be back in the N.S. crit mass come August!
