On this page you will find the bicycle touring routes to Milwaukee, Madison, and Green Bay , Wisconsin from Chicago ( Evanston ) , Illinois. They are downloadable and quite safe as I resourced all the local and state bicycle maps when producing them, consulting with planning departments, visitor's bureaus, etc. I have furthermore toured with my own bike on them. If you are looking for the best possible route to Milwaukee from Evanston, Illinois, I strongly recommend using the Green Bay track (not the route) as it follows the Milwaukee lakefront. These are better than Google directions since they show you where to camp and the route is essentially guaranteed.
