Early morning ride on some of the paved back roads from Plainfield to the far side of Yorkville.  The roads are reasonably quiet, but we do have several stretches on some more crowded roads (IL 126 .3 miles).  You should be comfortable riding in a single file line near the edge of the road as the shoulders are gravel.  The roads are paved so any type of bike will do, but we plan on averaging 14-16 miles per hour over the total length of the ride with sections in the 19-22 mph area.  If you…See More
