"The rice handwarmers will create a lot of moisture especially in the beginning. You may find that your hands end up being colder in the end as a result."

"Put your mittens (not gloves) on before you go outside, not after. Once your hands start getting cold, they keep going that way. Then it takes longer to warm them back up again."

About me:
I am an audio engineer by trade. I was sort of "born again" about a year ago from a spring/summer mountain/city bike rider to a kind of mad bike nut. I keep a blog with tales of my exploits as an amateur mechanic/fixer upper of bikes for myself and friends. I am hoping to get into some more long distance riding in 2009.

hopefully ill post the map sometime this week. i hate maps though so i always procrastinate. basically the route is flat, and urban at both ends with rural wi in between. i can also let ya know approximate stop off points good for resting.

If I dont post it in the thread soon then remind me!

Thanks again,
Ron
