"under armour extreme coldgear gloves. i wore these all last winter, and this far into this one. they aren't 100 percent waterproof but i only had to double up my gloves once or twice last winter. mine are about worn out and i am buying another…"
"These $40 gloves are super-warm and waterproof (Hipera inter-layer) and are made for motorcycle use. They are probably a lot warmer than needed on a bicycle unless it is zero degrees or below depending on how easily your hands get cold. …"
"Hahahaha, that's what I do! I don't get paid to ride my bike, but I do get to ride my bike soooooo much going from house to house all day, everyday. ... Check out Chicago Dog Walkers; I don't work for them, but they're almost…"
"I haven't heard of this... All I have heard of was my friend's fender getting stolen TWICE last week... the first one he had for a year and a half no problem, the second one he had for not even eight hours... He was really upset ..."
"I THINK that I saw you last week at Milwaukee and Des Plaines. We said "Hi" to each other despite the fact we've never met. ... Probably because we're both explosions of color riding down the street. haha."
We normally practice in a lot on Ukrainian Village or by Fulton Market. Now that it's getting warmer, prolly somewhere by the lake soon! Feel free to come on out... the more the merrier:) If you want, pm some contact info so I can give you a heads up next time!
No, I don't play bike polo... never tried my hand at it. The chainrings on my bikes probably say otherwise, haha. I like them because I like to microgear my bikes, and the fact that it keeps me from getting grease on my pants and shoes. Oh yeah, and I like how they look too:) I just got the 2010 version of the Milwaukee pologuard. So clean looking!
I noticed that you posted on ChiFG in response to my friend Seth's bike. You are building up a Bruiser? That is awesome! Are you building it up for tricks, or do you just like the style? They are great... I almost built one up myself.
So it seems riding bikes is the new black....thanks for the link. The Scott Fountain the two dudes were making out in front of is way nicer than Buckingham yet on a island in the middle of the Detroit River so it goes unnoticed by visitors - the few who actually go to Detroit...
Thanks for the positive comment. I tend to get a lot of hate because my bikes are so weird, haha. I'm going to change my pics soon, as the bikes posted look pretty different now. Plus I have a couple more that I need to take pictures of!
