So I see that if you do not shovel the snow in front of your home you can be fined up to $500. what about the city's property like, bridges, walk ways in front of empty lots owned by the city, what about riding to work in the streets taking up the lane cause the city doesn't plow curb to curb so bike lane doesn't get cleaned. what about bike lanes where the markings a worn off completely anyway? George, Tell your wife about Women Bike Chicago's Day of Dialogue and Demonstration scheduled for April 12, 2014 at Dvorak Park from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We will be posting an event on the Chainlink soon with more information. We have panel discussion put on by women to help other women become comfortable riding bikes. We even bring a bunch of our own bikes so others can try riding them to see what they like.
