"What kind of "attack"? An increased fine for riding on sidewalks? We should applaud this move. Riding on sidewalks, especially in that area, endangers pedestrians. IMO, that area of Sheridan Rd is not an appropriate route for bike traffic.…"

2009 Biking Goal

My 2009 goal is to visit each of the 77 community areas of Chicago via bike. I live on the far, far north side, so some of those far south side neighborhoods will be a challenge. I do make an annual pilgrimage to East Side and sometimes Hegewisch, usually on Memorial Day or July Fourth weekends.
