Duane Waller replied to Gene Tenner's discussion 'This is the bike for Chicago'
"Totally agree. A designer circle jerk is what I'm seeing. And evidently designers only like black and white. And matte finishes. And what's with both SF and NYC have seat posts that have little, if any, adjustment? The prices shown are…"

Duane Waller replied to Gina Doctor's discussion Chicago Reveal Party: The Bike Design Project
"You're absolutely correct. I worked with Garry from Method on this bike (paintwork), and he said the designers were talking about Neill quite a bit. BTW, the bike is a pretty slick ride. "

Duane Waller replied to Gene Tenner's discussion Bitter battle between motorists and bikers
"Dude, why the hostility? I'm not bitching about anything, I don't even own a car so I ride everywhere. So I guess I'll get on my bike and shut the frak up. "

Duane Waller replied to Madopal (2.4 mi)'s discussion Milwaukee Ave. Complete Streets Meeting 7/2 - Lawrence to Elston
"If you live up here and are heading south towards those neighborhoods, this new plan won't be of much help once you pass Foster. From there, all the way to Belmont, it's like the wild west.  "

Duane Waller replied to Madopal (2.4 mi)'s discussion Milwaukee Ave. Complete Streets Meeting 7/2 - Lawrence to Elston
"The section of Milwaukee that REALLY needs some help is from Belmont all the way to Foster. From Foster on north, the section causing the brunt of the "discussions", already has a lane. The area from Belmont up to Foster is super dicey. "

"I love that Simpsons reference. Many will probably attend in the hopes of being able to yell at other people who are opposite of their own views. This could get pretty stupid pretty fast, can't wait to go. Am a little worried about locking up…"

Duane Waller replied to Robert Underwood's discussion Advice requested for aspiring bike mechanic
"There is one bicycle-related field that has little presence in the Chicago area. Heck, it's got hardly any presence anywhere. You *might* consider learning how to paint bicycles. There's more work out there than you might imagine, and once…"
