I rode home to Hyde Park on December 22 around 2:30 pm or so. It was lovely. Nice of the city to have cleared the path in the morning.

Were you riding south from the Loop on the Lake Front path with a Burley cargo trailer in the snow on December 22? If so, Hey!

I'm the guy that stopped and waited at the bend around Oakwood. As I continued on I was wondering "what other nut cases are commuting south on a night like tonight" and after remembering all your great photos and the Hyde Park connection, thought you might have been the other "nut case."

In any event, cheers!

actually, now that I look more carefully, I see that in some cases the rider was rendered invisible, while in another, transformed into a tree-- and a lovely tree at that...

Does it worry you that all those lovely pictures seem to show a bike that has had its owner transported by putti, apotheosized, or taken by aliens?

Rick is an amazing sailor, but we never have much time to talk about art, unless we are talking about his father Art.

I am currently at Columbia for my Bachelors in Cinematography and have a while to apply for grad school for my MFA. I have been thinking USC if I do not stay in here.

I have not done a century yet, the furthest I have ridden in one day was 60 miles and I did that twice over a weekend for a few months.

I sail with Wombat, I didn't do the Mac but did just about every other regata. I hope to do frost bites this fall if I make some time.
