David Barish replied to David Altenburg's discussion Those orange bikes locked to the racks in Wicker Park are advertisements
"As amusing as it would have been to unilaterally remove the bikes Yasmeen's course of contacting Orange Therapy makes more sense. We educate rather than alienate a gym. Gyms are usually friendly to cyclists. Maybe that will come to roost at…"

David Barish replied to in it to win it 8.0 mi's discussion I rode today. Did you?
" Indeed.  It was nice to see so many cyclists on a January morning. I'm going with typo and assume we ar lucking out. :-) For those of us commuting north at the end of the day we will have a nice push at our backs. "
David Barish replied to Dean Bekken's discussion Chicago is to consider allowing cyclists 65 and older to ride on sidewalks, as kids 12 and under are allowed to do
"I do not like the idea of allowing those over 65 to ride on the sidewalk.  I agree with Anne's comments.  I understand that a cyclist will on rare occasions be on a sidewalk. This should be an exception for a short period where the…"
