What brings you to The Chainlink?: I'm a year-round bike commuter in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Though I don't live in Chicago, my girlfriends are in Evanston and Uptown, so I'm there a lot. I do Chicago Naked Bike Ride, and would do more more group rides if I was there more often. I'd like to be more involved in the Chicago bike community.

About me:: I'm a 35-year-old full-time college student. I'm graduating in the Spring and am eagerly awaiting responses to grad school apps. I'm hoping to do grad work in human geography, focusing on spatial inequality and socioeconomic injustice in urban areas. I may end up moving for school at the end of the Summer.

I bike year-round. I have a 2000 Giant Option for nicer weather, and a 2008 Novara Fusion as a winter bike for its weather-proof Nexus 8 hub, roller brakes, and dynamo headlight.
