Cameron 7.5 mi replied to Chitown_Mike's discussion Getting to Downers Grove (McCullom park)
"It can be confusing, but the ride through Riverside is very nice. I've done a similar route from Ravenswood to Downers Grove, except I stayed north in La Grange and rode trails through Salt Creek Woods and then took York up to 31st. "

Cameron 7.5 mi replied to Matt Talbert's discussion Footage of a driver getting into the bike lane and parking
"The city requirements for loading zones state that they should be located in the parking lane, therefore I'm surprised that one was granted on a street like Harrison that is no parking zone. Like Thunder Snow said, this would mean that a…"

Cameron 7.5 mi replied to Crazy David 84 Furlongs's discussion Lawrence Avenue
"Per the article only east bound Lawrence will be closed and only between Lavergne and the Kennedy. Since only one direction is closed for a short distance you might be able to get around the construction by walking/sidewalk ridding for a block.…"

Cameron 7.5 mi replied to Adam Brown's discussion What's the best way to get to the lakeshore from the West Loop on a weekday morning?
"He's probably talking about Garland Ct, where the truck is turning out of in the this Google Street View shot. That will take you down to Lower Wacker Place. Here is the same intersection as seen from Upper Wacker Place. You can take…"

Cameron 7.5 mi replied to Adam Brown's discussion What's the best way to get to the lakeshore from the West Loop on a weekday morning?
"It's dark, but there isn't much traffic. I turn on my lights like I would if I were ridding at night. I guess you could take North Water all the way to McClurg. North Water jogs to the south at St. Clair and I've always just turned…"

Cameron 7.5 mi replied to Adam Brown's discussion What's the best way to get to the lakeshore from the West Loop on a weekday morning?
"My favorite route is sort of hard to explain, but not to bad to figure out once you go through it. Take Clinton north to Kinzie and go east on Kinzie. Stay on Kinzie as it goes underground and becomes North Water. When North Water ends turn north on…"

Hey Cameron! I actually got word this morning that they found us a host family. Yeah! They're pretty close to the campgrounds actually. I'd love to meet up that evening or somewhere along the way for some good ol fashioned chainlink fun. Thanks again for looking into it for us. Cheers!

Hey, for the IL beach SP ride, would you mind if myself and Brittany were to share a site with you and liz? we have a 2 (and 3) person tent of our own. I wasnt sure how this all worked so I put our names down on the spread sheet but that can easily be changed.
