I say use Busse to cross 294 and the Forest Preserve. The furthest west I have gotten from Jefferson Park is Desplaines Metra Station. Busse Rd. is definitely safer in my opinion. I'd also like to be able to extend out to Schaumburg.

I participate as much as I can in Critical Mass, WNBR, and Big Shoulders neighborhood tours. I am proudly car-free since 12/07.
