What brings you to The Chainlink?
I want to find out what others who bike are doing, get resources, and stay confident and determined when both start to falter. Biking to work in Chicago can be challenging! I sometimes need motivation not to give up. I also want to find ways to help our city/communities become more bike-friendly.
About me:
I'm a 49-year-old woman, married, mother of 1 daughter and 2 step-daughters. I work downtown at the headquarters of a major airline and sit at a desk most of the day. I'm working on a Master's in Urban Planning and care deeply about environmental issues and biking as a viable mode of transportation.
My first bike:
A Schwin 10-speed when I was 12.
