It was my first group ride, and a number of people went out of their way to welcome me and help me get through it. It was truly appreciated!Also, thanks to the ladies at the Half Acre get together the other night who convinced me that it wasn't such a ridiculous idea for me to try the ride!I can't remember when I have ever felt this good at noon on a Saturday!See More

Check out RAGBRAI.org if you have never heard of it. We have an RV from the start point to the end to sag our stuff. I've also lined up host families in each town to allow RV parking, camping in the yard, and use of the shower/bathroom facilities. Great times ahead. If you'd like to help pay for gas and have a free sag/living ride, contact me. There's still room for friendly faces.
