That's why I would prefer a bypass for bikes.  That garden is pretty but it can be a bit dangerous wit bikes coming through it.    McCormick should be re-lined for the last few blocks after the trail goes to gravel with a bike lane on both sides of the road and take out the wasteful center mall lane.

But the unpaved path seems more in keeping with the garden.

Stopping to smell the flowers.   I like this little garden although I wish they would route a paved bike path around it.
