On Tuesday the Chicago Department of Transportation unveiled draft maps of the proposed locations for 110 miles of protected bike lanes and 40 miles of buffered lanes by 2015, as well as the new Citywide 2020 Network concept for a comprehensive bike network of 640 miles of "Four Star Bike Routes," "Crosstown Bike Routes" and "Neighborhood Bike Routes" by 2020.
