Perimeter Ride 2012 Planning Group

The Perimeter Ride has been going for a solid decade and is an important first century for a lot of people who might not try such a thing without the CTA bail-out option. Also, it's awesome! Nature trails, oddball sights along the way, interesting food options and an easy pace for the moderately hardcore.

The venerable John Greenfield has been running it all these years, but he wants to step away and focus on developing new rides which will surely be fantastic.  Stay tuned for those, he's got some interesting ideas up his sleeve.

So--folks who love the Perimeter Ride, let's keep it going!  Weigh in here and we'll hammer down the details and post it as an event.

I just got off the phone with the dude who runs Argus Brewery in Pullman. We'll meet him on Saturday and see about making that a firm Lunch stop on the ride.

Cam and I will be out of town this weekend, hope it goes well. I'd be in to help if there's another one.

Congratulations, Chad!  Glad you're in, Kevin.  I'll message the others who seemed most into the preride, I've talked to some others as well, but so long as there are three or four at least, we'll have us an official delegation.

Here's the google version of John's 2010 route so far:

I got the phone number of the dude at Argus Brewery and will ring him tomorrow about visiting.  Turns out he's been interested in someone organizing a ride to the joint, so here we are!

I'm in for the pre-ride. Anyone besides me, Chuck and David?
