I have to say that overall I was really unimpressed with the Chicago Winter Bike Swap (I was looking for parts for a build I am working on), but meeting your staff at the booth saved the whole experience. i would love to volunteer at Working Bikes. Thanks for all you do!

Whereabouts? Is it two blocks north, south, east or west of Working Bikes. In that area, two blocks makes a big difference.

What neighborhood? Pilsen?

Working Bikes Inaugural Service Department Opens Wednesday, April 13!

That's right, for the first time in its history, Working Bikes is opening a full service repair shop, to do everything from flat fixes and spoke replacements to full tune-ups and overhauls.

New Hours for Sales and Service!
Wednesday 12 -7
Thursday 12 - 7
Friday 12 - 5
Saturday 12 - 5

The new Service Department features a staff of highly skilled and professionally trained bicycle mechanics, with years and years of experience working with new and used bikes, to help get your bicycle running just like new.

Stop in and say hello to our friendly and courteous staff, and let us help you find exactly what it is you're looking for. Working Bikes' mechanics work on a much larger variety of bicycles, from over a much longer timespan than most bike mechanics do. Because of this we're a great resource for diagnosing problems and finding parts for old, obsolete or vintage bikes.

But we're also more than capable of helping repair or troubleshoot issues with new bikes, single speed and fixed gear conversions, high end road and mountain bikes, or really anything pedal-powered.

Come visit the new Working Bikes!

Working Bikes will be smiling and waving at Bike the Drive tomorrow. Better yet, we'll be changing tubes, pumping tires, lowering saddles, field-truing wheels, adjusting derailleurs, raising stems, duct taping cable housing, and desqueaking brakes for riders in need.
