For those who like to run when they do not ride!

Seemed like a bigger field. The first mile until you got through the McCormick Place tunnel was brutal. Contemplated throwing a few elbows. Still had a great race 1:12:04 for 4th in my division. Would've broke the coveted 1:10 if it weren't for the start.
I looked for you but alas...
Saw several people I know, but none of the fellow Chainlinkers . . .
Michael, was it only my impression, or indeed there were more participants this year?
Soldier Field 10 was great. Next race for me is the North Shore Half this coming Sunday. Anybody here doing that one?
It's a free country (still, kind of). I whine when I feel like it! ;)
And, I'll be course marshaling at the BTD, too, and I have to check in at 3:45 a.m.!
quit your whining Serge ! I am bike marshalling for Bike the Drive and we are supposed to be there at 4:30 am ! so there.
p.s. you want some cheese with that whine !
I have to be there by 5:30 . . . To tell you the truth, I have no idea why they ask course marshals to arrive that early. What's the point of me waiting somewhere on the course for more than an hour for the race to start?
Serge - If you (or anybody else) wants to ride down together I'll be at the Path & Irving 5:30ish
I should be, apparently, at the intersection of the Ft. Dearborn Dr. and the northbound LSD entrance ramp.
Nice job running grayn8. Since I chuckled like a grade-schooler every time I read the word Fartlek, I have no idea. I would say you did a brick workout (bike/run/bike).
