More than a million blades of grass were crying out for water on our browning lawns. Then these smooth peaceful rain clouds came rolling in from the west.

Still no rain in Brew Town since I last posted ten days ago. If this keeps up, Southeast Wisconsin's state parks may have to ban campfires.

We're sweltering and dry here in Brew Town. Hopefully, the rain will catch us tomorrow night. This next week, Summerfest starts, literally with a Big Bang.

What I wouldn't give for a good Chicago thunderstorm.... At least you can wait it out! We in Seattle are having the spring that wasn't. If we break 60 and see a peek of sun, we dance in the streets. Gray and drizzle, boo. It's harder in the hills (who knew I could still spin out in wet leaves stoking it up a hill?). Miss y'all!
