Anybody game for setting up a trip to Zion the 3rd, 4th or 5th weekend April?

Maybe I'll have to ask a ranger where there are a big bunch of bicyclists and let him know that I'm to meet you there.

Barry, it will probably be even easier than that. When Melanie and I went last year, when we stopped at the gate to check in, they asked us if we were with the large group of people on bicycles. If we are there before you, then they will probably direct you to us, if you are there first.... well, scope out a good site, one that is preferably someplace where we would not disturb someone else. If I recall correctly, if you are heading into the campground, just after passing the gate, if you take your first right, and then your next first right, there is a dead end that might be a nice place to set up, oh, and make sure you don't put us in an alcohol free zone! LOL ! I look forward to meeting you.

on that note...anyone interested in desiging a 'pitching a tent' flag for these type of occasions?

The campground isn’t that big and we should be fairly easy to identify since we’ll be a decent sized group with lots of bikes and no cars. Maybe something along the lines of a Chicago flag with the stripes replaced with bike chains and the stars replaced with alternating sprockets and the tent that’s used on campground signs. I’ll try to come up with a sketch of some sort, but I make no promises about the quality. Anyone know about how much it costs to get a custom flag screen printed?
