NSCM Retrospective

Webspace for quick summary retrospective of great NSCM (NorthSideCriticalMass) rides.

NSCM uses MassUp.us/nscm (text WHERE to u@massup.us on ride day to catchup)
So many months are archived there, plus some gathered here. Many uncataloged ended at Fireside (on Ravenswood) or Karaoke (Lincoln near Lawrence?) or Pizza (on Howard?) or Gompers park. Several passed through North Channel Trail, Warren Park, North Park Village and Horner Park.

Apr 13th 2012: I CAN DO THAT!
Maybe three dozen riders? First to Gannon's midpoint to pickup more riders, shots+pees. Then to "I CAN DO THAT!" show opening in Wicker Park where viewers add to the artworks, and Dubi photocopied private parts. Then to Jeekoos/Ninjalina dubstep birthday party at Katacomb.
Mar 9th 2012: Bike Winter Art Show closing
Long ride to Bike Winter Art Show closing party at 1000 N Milwaukee. With fashion show, PBR and Chartreuse.
Feb 10th 2012: Snow Ride
Newbies again proudly kept the ride going through the bitterest times, hooked up with the snow ride elsewhere.

Dec 9th 2011: Mall Santa ride
Adjusting to bitter cold, quick shot straight west to "Simon" (Lincolnwood) mall, but Santa'd already left for the pole :(
Nov 11th 2011: NorthSide/FullMoon/111111 ride.
In massive synchronicity, rode past several 11 related sites (including a 7-11 stop), ending at Gannon's (on Lincoln) to join the full moon ride, ending after 2am with huge group ass shot.
Aug 12th 2011: Mass of the Gods
Carefully planned long fast ride past sites of several major religions, including a mosque, the Hare Krishnas, synagogue row, ending far north at the epic Bahai temple world HQ. Nice dinners after in Evanston, just missing rain.
Jul 8th 2011: MiniGolf / MegaMind
Fast ride first to minigolf way west on Peterson (to prove it can easily be done). Then to a wonderful free movie in the park, with cheap concessions and some mosquitos. Also a Chicken coop stop.
Apr 8th 2011: Ladytron ride
Long loop ride just to kill miles, ending at Berlin (on Belmont) for Ladytron nite.
Mar 11th 2011: Bike Winter Art Show ride
Unusually long (and cool) ride straight far south on lakefront path to Bike Winter Art Show opening. Great show, great peeps, cheap beer.
Dec 10th 2010: Hot Ride
Legendary ride to free beer at GapersBlock.com party with roaring fire (at Black Rock). Then free "Brrr-lesque" at Martyrs.
Oct 8th 2010: Autumnal Solstice
Probably rode through north park.
