I'm building a rear wheel with a b43, and researching some hubs. I'm looking for something bomb proof, preferably in white, but am not interested in spending $175+ for one phil wood hub. Anyone have some good first hand recommendations?

Totally depends on the bike and preferences, but for general purpose I really like the Vittoria Randonneur line... I just got a set of Randonneur Cross for my San Jose.

Looking to get new tires. So what kind of tires do you use for your daily fixed gear commutes? Also wanted to know where you all go to purchase. Is there a good site that you like to use to order? Thought there would be a resource list somewhere here but I can't find it. so sorry if this has been discussed already.

The Local is always a good choice. I have these on my bike & love them. Tried a few different kinds but the HoldFast so far are my fav. The WIG ones i think follow the same design as the Holdfast ones.

LOVE the Chicago Wig ones! Thanks. I'll spend the extra cash to go local! Hopefully they'll fit my pedals.
thanks everyone

Well tis expensive because they make each strap custom. So you tell them what colors you want and shiz.

Looking for alternatives for straps/clipless for my fixed. I found these and was wondering if anyone has used them?
