While it is not essential for green thinkers to be riders...it cetainly helps.

The pursuit of a clean and safe planet for us and all the other residents is a wonderful way to live. And were it not for the stresses the Earth is under and the intense difficulties of trying to change all the people on the planet into thinking, caring human beings this environmental stuff would be great.

So I drive a car that gets great mileage, ride my bike for errands and recreation, volunteer with Sierra Club and am actice (virtually) in social pressure to evolve our society with several other groups.
