Lisa, this group usually gets a little more active when the weather gets colder and we're spending less time ridding.

Will anyone be doing this this year?  Sounds like a good idea!

I've read "Kite Runner". Not really wanting to go back to it.

Do any other readers have any suggestions or comments?

I've also not read "Kite Runner" so unless someone objects, it sounds like we have a winner.

As far as dates go, I would propose either a Wednesday or Thursday on 11/30-12/1 or 12/6-12/7. This way we avoid Thanksgiving and have the long holiday weekend to read the book.

Kite Runner has been on my "meaning to read" list for a long time.

I'm ready to revive this. I haven't read "Kite Runner," but expect that puts me in somewhat of a minority.

Who's ready to revive this thing after a summer hiatus? I'll volunteer to host. Does anyone have ideas for a book for suggestions for a date?
