Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society
Information
Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

i would be up to a monthly trip, i would like to ride both ways though. my schedule is tight for weekends until mid may, but through the summer and the fall i am all for it.

It was still raining hard when we were riding back to the station. When I got off the train at LaSalle, no rain.

It went great, weather be damned! ;)
I took Metra from LaSalle to Beverly/103, was met by Anne Alt there. Short ride from the station to Horse Thief. Excellent beer and food!
