FWIW: I created a Facebook group called Geeks on Gears.  It's a group to discuss the geeky aspects of cycling (bike computers, smartphone apps, cycling tech, etc).

We've got wonderful pro bono UX help from Fuzzy Math and are searching for a back-end partner.

Web developers wanted for pro bono project!

Active Trans is seeking the pro bono assistance of a qualified web development firm or developers to helpredesign and rebuild the back end of our current website, www.activetrans.org.

We’ll be moving from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7, and hope to build some great new features and functions for the website. The generous people at the user-interface firm Fuzzy Math are working pro bono with Active Trans to provide all front-facing design aspects for this project.

Active Trans is also in the process of putting in place a new constituent relationship management (CRM) database called Raiser’s Edge. We hope to integrate Raiser’s Edge with our new website to allow our members and supporters easier ways to join, renew, and donate.

I can attest working with Chi Lowe (who has been tirelessly volunteering with The Chainlink due to his passion) has been nothing short of a gift from heaven.  He's an awesome person with great vision and a lots of expertise and knowledge.  He's kinda a renaissance man (writing, engineering  strategy, economics, good teacher, father, etc).

Is there anyway to have the BikeGeeks meetings over G+ for us remote folks? I'd love to join but work and child care schedules have not allowed me to travel as much.

Julie lead a TheChainLink.org overhaul I.T. focus group meeting Wednesday that was quite productive.  I think she’s just a few steps from concrete prioritized plans.  7 geeks attended.

 

They’re suggesting having a few more meetings and are discussing where and when.  I suggested BikeGeeks (Thursdays 24xx N Albany), figuring Todd’d welcome ‘em, and some of this list likely overlaps that set.  But they like Wednesdays.
