Hey Fellow Bicycle Riders!
Did you know that you can buy/order Yellow Reflector Vests from Sears?
These cost less than $12. Dollars a piece; I ordered 2 from Sears on State Street last year, using Sears's Order by paying cash to a clerk and have her place my order on line in lieu of a credit card. The shipment arrived in a few days and I have had a Yellow Vest ever since to wear while I ride my bicycle around the City!
If you have access to the Internet, you can look up the Yellow Reflector Vest and place your own order on line, otherwise write down the Item Number and visit your closest Sears Store to place your order with a Cash payment.
I believe and think that all bicycle riders should wear an outstanding Yellow Color to Distinguish and Make us visible to all drivers, even to those who are nearly Blind but yet are allowed to drive a 2 Ton vehicle!
SO, BEEN SEEN WITH A BRIGHT COLOR ON YOUR SIDE AND ALWAYS WEAR YOUR HELMETS!
Regards, Steve Horvath

Ikea has good ones for I can't remember but between $5 and $10 in sizes from 3 years up to adult XL - family childproofing section near the kids stuff.

Permalink Reply by Chris B on February 2, 2012 at 10:01am I was using the Nashbar one for awhile, till my fiance laughed and said it looked like I stole some 9 year old kid's vest. :) She got me a bigger one that makes me look like a construction worker, it is a lot more visible.

It's not worth it unless you need to go there anyway, or live nearby (it's quite a hike).
If someone wanted to organize this, vests can be had very cheaply in bulk from construction safety equipment suppliers. It's even easy to throw a logo on to recognize a sponsor.
