Women's Bern Muse Hard Hat Helmet in Gloss White Size Large Used ($30)

Women's Bern Muse Hard Hat Helmet in Gloss White Size Large Used ($30)

I wore this helmet a few times last winter and is otherwise new. I did hit my head on the top of my stairs so there are a few superficial scratches on the top of the helmet and near the back. It comes with a purple plaid fleece liner which covers the ears and the forehead. There are no vents and it has a ski google clip in the back.

I'm only selling it because it is slightly too big. I measured right above where my glasses sit above my ears and it was 22 inches, which is the low end of Bern's Size Large. With no hat/liner/balaclava, the front of the helmet's liner sits right at my eyebrows which is too low for my comfort. It fits overall, but just sits too low. This would be good for someone who is actually a Bern's Size Large or another 22incher who likes to wear hats under their helmet AND if you wear ski googles for your winter commute. I never found goggles to fit over my giant hipster glasses so I just live with the cold winter air stinging my eyes.

Sorry for the long-ass description, just wanted to be thorough. Asking for $30, please private message me for a meet-up.

I might be interested, can you describe to me more about hitting your head on top of the stairs? Most helmets are useless after one impact.

I am surprised you say that, because I drop my helmets on the floor all the time and they're fine.  I think you have to fall pretty hard to crack a helmet.  But to answer your question:  It's like when you drop something under the table and hit your head getting up because you misjudged where the underside of the table is.  Not a very hard impact.  It's just the surface is not completely white.  In picture 2, there's little gray lines on the lower half of the picture which is where the helmet hit the stairs (my stairs are black).  Thanks for looking!

Awesome, that is what I thought. I just couldn't tell from the working if it was bumping your head or falling on the stairs from standing :-). And I should have been more specific: one 'major' impact :-). I PM-ed you.
