The Chainlink

I will make or bake you something in exchange for maps. (Bike maps or other maps.)

I make 1-1/4" pin-back buttons, 1-1/4" magnets, 2-1/4" pin-back buttons, 2-1/4" magnets, 2-1/4" mirrors, 2-1/4" bottle openers, and 2-3/8" pin-back buttons.

I am told I bake a mean coffee brownie.

If you stop by any of the B2WW Pit Stops, they usually have bike maps available. How many did you need? I have a couple of them.

I have a access to a ton of old maps- especially transit related.

Another (and not the last) chance to get a Chicago bike map will be tomorrow, at Daley Plaza.

I'll take as many as I can get. I am looking for old/extra bike maps, not the current map. So, if you pick up a new map at a pit stop or your LBS, please consider giving your old map(s) to me. Thanks!

Oh . . . I think I know what you need them for ;)

Yeah so why would anyone want an old map?

I think most of my old bike maps are rather beat up, but I have quite a few vintage road maps that you could have.

I've been making bike/other map buttons since 2007 and am now turning maps into magnets, mirrors, and bottle openers.

I can take old maps and if they're too deteriorated to use, I will recycle them.

Thanks!

I have a 1991 and 2003 Chicago bike maps sitting on my desk.  I've been meaning to digitize them.  After I do that, I won't need the paper copies anymore.

ah, very cool!

Some of the oldest Chicago bike maps can be found at the UIC Library:

ps. If your're able to figure how to get prints made, let me know.  I'd like to get one myself.

If you aren't picky about the exact map older maps of Chicago aren't terribly expensive on Ebay.
