"Washington State enacts new 'E-DUI' law for driving under the influence of electronic devices."

I believe most members in our cycling community here would appreciate an enactment of a similar version in the State of Illinois.

Being diverted from the main responsibility of driving, which we all agree to do when we take control of a motor vehicle, and safely pilot it down our state's roads has become a huge problem.

With all the new electronic devices thrust upon drivers in this modern world there is obviously need for a new version of our state's laws regarding electronic device distraction.

The adoption of these new laws here would save many lives.
