Does anyone know a shop that buys used bikes?

Thanks,

Some reputable shops might take used bikes in on trade, but most are pretty unlikely to buy used bikes outright unless you have something pretty great to sell. You might want to look at the Chicago Bike Shop database for shops close to you that sell used bikes. If they sell them they might also buy them.

I just did a search there that listed 19 shops in the City that sell used bikes.

Anyway you'll probably get a lot more money by selling the bikes on Craigslist or here in the Chainlink's MarketPlace.

What kind of bikes are you trying to sell?

If you find that no-one wants your bike(s), consider donating them/it to Working Bikes where you'll at least get a receipt for your donation which you can use for a tax deduction.

Some pawn shops will buy bikes.

Great answer, nothing to add.
