Does anyone have suggestions for a reputable place to donate it?

Thanks Brendan for your unwavering effort to get one car off the road. And my lungs thank you too. Speaking of lungs, the American Lung Association has a very active Vehicle Donation program. They're pretty active here in lobbying for cleaner air and combating the nation's #3 killer: lung disease.
Of course they'll merely wholesale your car to someone else who'll put it back on the road. And you'll get a tax deduction (if you itemize); but it may be limited by new IRS regulations on this practice. So all-and-all, perhaps you might consider terminating that car's life, by selling it to a junk yard for parts.
