Is he in this photo that he posted?  I meet people all the time, but don't always catch their name. 

He sent me a few nice emails earlier this year thanking me for what I do here with the site.

Of course I'll always remember this post.  He ended up editing the title since it was so gross :))

That's Bernie on the left in the Ireland jersey. Every time I saw him he was smiling.

We had John Ryan come to the last Oak Park Cycle Club meeting and give a show n tell about his trip to Ireland and I had been trying to get Bernie to come out with the club. He wanted to start up a bike club in Berwyn (already had a name and designed a logo) and I kept telling him we needed him in the OPCC. I picked up the phone to call him and let him know what he missed and also talk to him about a wellness fair we were taking part in that night. I checked my emails first and got the bad news.
