Recomendations for a bike trailer for winter riding

I'm a year round rider and want to start taking my 3 year old to school using a trailer.

Does anyone have any experience with a trailer that they use all year?  I will use it in snow, slush, rain...whatever.

Its not a terribly long ride for him. About two miles with the trailer to his school, and then I'll take it off and ride the next three miles to work.

I'd appreciate any of your recommendations,  especially your personal experiences and any specific brands and versions.  What trailers hold up to Chicago snow and rain?

Right now I'm looking at Burley Solo, Chariot Cougar 1, Burley D'lite but open to other suggestions.
