Too true. I put in over 60 miles just doing errands around the city, through Andersonville, Logan Square, West Loop, Hyde Park, Lincoln Park, Lakeview and Uptown.
Lots of people were using bikes for transportation - women carrying flowers and yoga mats, dads pulling kids and dogs in trailers, and even one guy pulling a kayak (cool!) down Argyle St.
Me, I was the guy riding the Pedersen...

It was beautiful. I had forgotten about the bike blackout on Metra for Air Show weekend, so I ended up riding out to the suburbs and back. Beautiful evening as well.

Weather guys said overcast today. Ah! It was a perfect day outside!!!!
