PediCab for Santa Rampage?

Gabe fractured his kneecap on Wednesday night and is having surgery tomorrow (Friday) morning to repair it. It is unlikely that he will be able to pedal a bike by Saturday what with the cast he's going to be wearing and all. He had hoped to attend the Santa Rampage on Saturday. If he goes, (though that would probably be nuts) it'll have to be by PediCab. We've got a relay team of riders, but how do we get one? Ideas?

Perhaps someone in the Pedicabs group can help. Unfortunately I don't know anyone who owns, rents, or rides a pedicab.  

I'm more than willing to help out with the relay team if an extra set of legs is needed.

Gabe is having his surgery late this afternoon. Speaking from experience, there is NO way he will be up to this tomorrow, if he is even released from the hospital by then.... Maybe a drive by to where he is at will cheer him up?

damn sorry to hear that. Hopefully the surgery goes well, i just sold my cabbie at the end of summer.

I tend to agree. Now that his surgery has been shifted to this afternoon, whatever overly optimistic plans he had for attending the unified-denominational Rampage on Saturday have become foolhardy. If he even gets discharged today, I don't expect he'll be in any shape for rampaging Saturday afternoon.

Maybe they will just keep him in the hospital for 24hr observation and we can rampage in Northwestern hospital. However he is suppose to go home tonight.

Hey folks - thanks for the effort but I doubt I'll make the ride ;-) If I'm still here it would great to see Santa's and Dreidels ;-) I'm in room 1437. The Physical therapy peeps have to clear me to leave and they don't start shifts til 8 am. So I'll be here for a bit ;-)

Gabe!!!!!  Big hug. Try to keep your phone from being taken away with the linens and maybe we can coordinate a photo-op as they're wheeling you out the door. Or maybe you can fail the crutch training to make things easier to coordinate. You's at Superior and something, right?
