The explanation doesn't make sense. There's practically no work involved in just leaving the site up even if you don't have much time. I think something "legal" happened.

As of Nov 15th, 2012, I have decided to shut down MyBikelane. This has always been a side project, and unfortunately I do not have time to properly maintain the site or the service.
