Litelok: Lightweight new lock type on Kickstarter

Interesting new lock type, modeled after a car/airplane seatbelt, now on Kickstarter:

Don't know if it's as effective as a U-lock, but it's worth a look.

While I certainly wouldn't trust this as my primary lock until it's had some years in the field, I could see replacing my 2nd U-Lock with this.

Yes, and it's probably an improvement over a cable used to attach the front wheel to the frame, if a U-lock is protecting the rear wheel and frame. I like how you can expand this lock by connecting two together, if you need a longer reach around a lamp post, for instance.
