Just a story

I'm sure I've entered the "crazy aunt" category or the boisterous old lady niche.  Standing in line at the post office, the man behind me mumbles about having to feed the parking meter. There's my opening, I think.  "You didn't ride your bike today...??" me being friendly - his mail is going off to Montana.

"No, I haven't ridden for a while, but once I rode from Colorado Springs (or was it Boulder) to the Canadian border and once all the way to the San Juan Islands...so all my riding was at one time..."

I explained that I haven't done much long distance riding, but back and forth and back and forth everyday, and I give him a salute.  Maybe he'll start riding again.
